This car was a real gem. Used only as a daily runner during the summer months and as such it was mechanically in really good and reliable order. It started on the button, the gear changes were smooth, the handbrake was firm and uncomplicated, the brakes worked very well. The electrics all functioned as they should. Only the original HMV radio needed attention.

The paint is a blue/grey but can change in hue and vibrancy in different lights. I would say the paint was an 8 out of 10. Incredibly presentable as you can see from the pictures but there were a couple of areas the new owner might want to bring on.
The interior was a 7 out of 10. Original leather, the woodwork needed a varnish but it was all there and it was not a necessity to do so. The front bench seat could only be described as romantic and if the relationship is not going so well you could pull down the central arm rest for separation and comfort.
The 2.6 engine and manual transmission was a 9 out of 10 and all that would be required is a cosmetic tickle in the engine bay if you like shiny engines. The engine starts first time on choke when cold and soon settles to a low and quiet tick over. The gear changes are smooth and contribute to an effortless driving experience.

Looking at the history and expenditure to keep it running so well there is not much to worry about. The previous 8 owners would be proud that this car is still giving driving pleasure and utility as they once experienced many years ago. In the history file there is an article on one of these cars achieving the equivalent milage of going 12 times around the world. So, at only 59,500 genuine miles this car has a long life still ahead of it.
