the last remaining leyland 15 pick-up on the road.
NOW SOLD
This vehicle is now sold. Anderson Historic are proud to release this magazine featured unique piece of motoring heritage from the collection. Not to be confused with the Standard Atlas, the Leyland 15 was produced in much smaller numbers and was only in production for 2 years. It is powered by the original Standard 1,698cc engine that makes it quite a spritely drive. This Leyland was recently given a full repaint by a specialist Aircraft Paint facility to an exceptionally high standard in resplendent Oxford Blue.
This Leyland 15 has had much work recently done to a cost of over £15,000. The list of works is extensive. The pick-up comes with a huge history file containing many brochures and manuals as well as all receipts for monies spent on the restoration.
The interior has been given a new headlining and paint and the dial was fully restored. The pick-up drives very well and it bombs along between villages with ease.
In our opinion this would make an excellent vehicle for a business and is ready to be sign written. We can assist with sign-writing if the new buyer would like to have this done. |
The pick-up is on the button and drives well with everything working as it should. It recently completed a 70 mile round trip with no issues and all gauges reading correctly. It is a beautiful drive and the forward seating position makes for an excellent view out of the cab and easy parking.
